The Norden bombsight is very dependent upon the gyro stabilizers to hold accuracy during the rough and turbulent ride in the B-25 bombardier section. This Gyro Stabilizer is attached to the nose section at the bottom of the stabilizer. And the Norden Bombsight (sponsored separately) is mounts to the top right side of the stabilizer. During the development of the bomb sight, a reliable and accurate stabilizer had to be developed first. The success of the bomb sight depends on the gyro stabilizer.
